Driving principle
1. The servo mainly relies on pulses for positioning. Basically, it can be understood that when the servo motor receives a pulse, it will rotate the angle corresponding to the pulse to achieve displacement. Because the servo motor itself has the function of sending pulses, so the servo Every time the motor rotates an angle, it will send a corresponding number of pulses, so that it echoes with the pulses received by the servo motor, or called a closed loop. In this way, the system will know how many pulses are sent to the servo motor, and how many pulses are received at the same time. The pulse returns, so that the rotation of the motor can be precisely controlled to achieve precise positioning, which can reach 0.001mm.
DC servo motor refers specifically to DC brushed servo motor - the motor has low cost, simple structure, large starting torque, wide speed range, easy control, and requires maintenance, but it is easy to maintain (replace carbon brushes), and it will generate electromagnetic interference. The environment has requirements. Therefore, it can be used in common industrial and civil occasions that are sensitive to cost.
DC servo motors also include DC brushless servo motors - the motors are small in size, light in weight, large in output, fast in response, high in speed, small in inertia, smooth in rotation, stable in torque, and limited in motor power. It is easy to realize intelligence, and its electronic commutation method is flexible, and it can be square wave commutation or sine wave commutation. The motor is maintenance-free and has no loss of carbon brushes. It has high efficiency, low operating temperature, low noise, small electromagnetic radiation, and long life. It can be used in various environments.
